GDOP MN Teams

The people helping with the Minnesota Global Day of Prayer are broken up into three main teams, each of which is broken down into smaller teams. If you're interested in helping, please contact us or RSVP for a team meeting.

Please bring others in your churches and networks to participate in this growing prayer movement.

In recent days, we've been engaged in very productive meetings about GDOP MN 2010.   We've held two meetings of the core planning team, and one meeting of the organizational larger team.  Plans for mobilizing Christians from Minneapolis and St Paul are crystalizing.  Conference calls about the program will soon result in an announcement regarding worship leaders.  Just a few days ago, a meeting of several radio stations from the Twin Cities resulted in preliminary agreements for the radio stations to collaborate in calling our region to prayer on May 23.  Also, a lunch meeting in Rogers saw thirty-plus pastors from the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis discuss the potential of rallying the Church to seek God and broadcasting GDOP MN in a united fashion.  We are targeting exhibitors and city ministries, too.  In addition, we're revamping our GDOP MN website so that it will be cleaner and more useful.   Our partners continue to grow.

Please keep praying for all the planning and foundational work.  Two years ago we had 350, or so, praying together on Pentecost.  Last year, we tripled that number at the Convention Center.  Can we triple it again?  May the Lord show us favor in these days of great regional, national and international problems.  The Bible is clear: Since the death and resurrection of Christ, God has yet to do his greatest work on earth.   May we see it in our day.  May we seek him for it this Spring.
