Global Day of Prayer Gathering in Minnesota

Pentecost Sunday, May 23, 2010

The most massive prayer movement in history! Join a gathering of prayer across denominations, race, age, and gender for a glorious time in unified prayer.

On Pentecost Sunday, the Twin Cities will join hundreds of millions of Christians across the earth in the sixth annual Global Day of Prayer. 2009 was the first year in which there was participation from every nation of the earth. Many will gather in small groups in homes. Many will assemble in large stadiums and other public venues. In some places, television, radio and internet will help to connect and align our prayers even more.

This year, christians and leaders from our region will gather at the Trask Worship Center on the campus of North Central University, 910 Elliot Ave., Minneapolis from 5 to 8 PM. Among others, Jeff Deyo and his worship band will lead an evening of prayer and praise. From his days as lead singer with Sonic Flood until now, Jeff is internationally known for his pursuit of God and institutes of worship. You can listen to some of Jeff Deyo's music on YouTube
