Global Day of Prayer Gathering in Minnesota

Pentecost Sunday, June 12, 2011

The most massive prayer movement in history! Join a gathering of prayer across denominations, race, age, and gender for a glorious time in unified prayer.

On Pentecost Sunday, the Twin Cities will join hundreds of millions of Christians across the earth in the sixth annual Global Day of Prayer. 2009 was the first year in which there was participation from every nation of the earth. Many will gather in small groups in homes. Many will assemble in large stadiums and other public venues. In some places, television, radio and internet will help to connect and align our prayers even more.

Note: This year the Global Day of Prayer was observed on the National Day of Prayer (May 5) with a UNITE prayer gathering for students. There will be no additional Twin Cities gathering on the Global Day of Prayer. But we encourage you to observe it in your local church services on June 12 by reading the "Prayer for the World" or hosting your own prayer gathering.
