Description of the project
Food Bank for Kids – This is a box that churches or organizations can place in their entrance or foyer for collecting money for 3 Metro food banks – Hope for the City, Heartland Second Harvest and EFN (Emergency Feeding Network) Other ideas for potential participants to collect funds – Youth Groups, Boy or Girl Scout Groups, etc. All proceeds from these collections will be donated to the 3 food banks to fund food programs for kids.

Dates of service:
Memorial Weekend through Labor Day – following the Global Day of Prayer – 90 Days of Blessing

Training/Screening Requirements:
TBD – There will accountabilities for those who are assigned boxes. One person from a church would be responsible for collecting boxes at the end of a given collection time.
