Time
Commitment/Hours:
- Twice monthly
- pack and distribute produce-short periods of time from noon – 2:30
pm
- One day
monthly (second Wednesday) – assist in carrying bags for mothers and
seniors through their MAC/NAPS program which serves mothers and
children (MAC), and seniors (NAPS) (same day as produce
distribution) from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Daily food
shelf services - stock shelves Monday through Friday from 11:30 pm
-1:30 pm
- Twice monthly
– assist in the clothing closet every other Tuesday (sometimes every
Tuesday depending on surplus) from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm / duties
include: displaying clothing, having clients sign in, and putting
clothing back into storage at close
- Five days
weekly, front desk assistance from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm to answer a
21-button phone (4 line) and direct calls to the appropriate persons
Training/Screening Requirements:
Volunteers call or email interest, fill out application, complete
orientation – once all is received and approved volunteerism starts
