Description: Food Shelf

Dates of Service:
May 28 – August 28, 2007

Time Commitment/Hours:
May 29-June 1; June 4-8; and August 13-31, 2007 (totaling five weeks only) Five days weekly is the need; the volunteer chooses what day and time s/he can work from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm; and s/he is not required to work five consecutive days.

Training/Screening Requirements:
No screening requirements, minimal training, various training depending on the day of service

Capacity Volunteers:
6 volunteers daily

Function:
Pre-packaging food, assisting with carrying grocery for disabled clients; light yard work; and treating clients with respect and dignity
