As a natural outflow of the Global Day of Prayer, we are calling Christians to demonstrate
the love of Christ by blessing their surrounding communities through acts of kindness and
service. This effort will demonstrate Christ’s love as His followers touch their
communities at their points of need.
The Twin Cities will collaborate in blessing various communities in 2010. This
blessing strategy may include prayer walking, Bible distribution, evangelistic block
parties, building and restoration of homes, neighborhood clean-ups, mentoring, job
training, job creation, etc.
This is a time for you to bring your skills and anointings to partner with others in
blessing the cities. Some potential opportunities to bless North Minneapolis and other
communities:
- Prayer Walks
- Outreaches
- Service Projects: gardening / landscaping / community beautification / maintenance of
church facilities & homes
- Food Distribution
- Haven House initiative kick-off
Please bring others in your churches and networks to participate in this growing prayer
movement.

During the 90 days following Pentecost Sunday, Christians are encouraged to select an area
of need and contact one of these organizations where you can help make an impact.
